Coach Adrian.
Adrian Thomas · Director of Basketball · 4th Quarter Athlete
- NJCAA #1 point guard, 2010
- Kishwaukee College all-time assists
- Pro · Sweden, Turkey, Spain
- Founder, 4th Quarter Athlete & Texas Warriors Elite
Adrian grew up in Montopolis in Southeast Austin and picked up a basketball at seven. A standout at Del Valle High School, he was named the NJCAA’s #1 point guard in 2010 and is still the all-time assist leader at Kishwaukee College in Illinois. He finished his college career at Missouri Western State University with a degree in Sports Management.
He played professionally in Sweden, Turkey and Spain, and it was there he found the second career: player development. Back home in Austin he founded 4th Quarter Athlete in 2014, then Texas Warriors Elite, a select program that now runs 30-plus teams a year. He has trained youth, high school, college and professional players across Texas and in seven countries.
Since June 2026, 4QA’s labs, academy, camps and leagues have run at Dripping Springs Sports Club, with Adrian directing all of DSSC basketball. His high energy and contagious work ethic are the reason the gym sounds the way it does on a Monday night.
“Your talent determines what you can do. Your motivation determines how much you are willing to do. Your attitude determines how well you do it.”Lou Holtz — Adrian’s favorite quote

Where does my kid start?
Second to fifth grade with little experience: Prep Academy. Third grade and up already playing school or rec ball: Skill Lab, and Shooting Lab if they want a second night. Chasing a school roster: both labs, open runs, and tryout prep when the season nears.
Is this 4th Quarter Athlete?
Yes. 4QA is Coach Adrian Thomas’s player-development program, well known in Austin basketball since 2014. Since June 2026 it has run at Dripping Springs Sports Club — same coaching, same programs, our courts — and registers on Playbook with the rest of the club.
Where is basketball?
In Warehouse I and Warehouse II, two buildings right next to each other at 15113 Fitzhugh Rd, Suite 1400, at the corner of Fitzhugh and Trautwein.
How does registration work?
Everything registers on Playbook, our registration system — one family account for every player and every sport. Dates, prices and open spots are there; the schedule on this page is live from Playbook. Playbook opens in a new tab.
Can I rent a court for my team?
Yes — full courts by the hour in either warehouse, for practices, leagues and tournaments. See court rentals.
Basketball, first.
Labs, camps and leagues post to Playbook first and land here within minutes. The newsletter rounds them up with open gym hours and camp dates.
