What gets measured.
Baseline when you start, retests through the year. The number that matters is the gain.
Vertical
Approach touch minus standing reach — how high you actually get.
Approach jump
Highest touch off a full approach.
Standing jump
Highest touch off a standing two-foot jump.
Broad jump
Standing broad jump distance.
10-yard dash
First-step speed — the ten yards that decide a loose ball.
Who owns the vertical.
The Reach Performance leaderboard, live from the app: the top 20 in every test, first name and last initial only, updated as athletes retest.

A membership or a pack.
Reach runs on a membership or a pack of sessions. Pick one on Playbook, then book your days on the schedule above. This is what Playbook has open right now.
Before the first test.
Who is Reach for?
Youth athletes through adults, in any sport — volleyball, basketball, soccer, football, track, or none in particular. Sessions are coached by level inside the group, so a middle schooler and a high school junior can be on the floor at the same time doing different work.
What does testing involve?
Five measurements — vertical, approach jump, standing jump, broad jump and 10-yard dash. Baseline when you start, retests through the year. Results go into the athlete’s record and, for the top 20 in each test, onto the leaderboard (first name and last initial only).
Where is it?
The Reach floor is inside the Warehouse, 15113 Fitzhugh Rd, Suite 1400 — its own training floor next to the courts.
How do I sign up?
On Playbook: pick a membership or a session pack, then book sessions on the calendar. The schedule on this page is live from Playbook.
Testing days first
When the next block opens, when testing days are, and who moved on the board. About once or twice a month.
