Why 3v3 makes better players.
More touches
Six players on the court instead of ten. Every player brings the ball up, takes shots and guards someone who can score — nobody stands in the corner for a whole possession.
More decisions
With more space, every trip is a read: pass or drive, cut or screen, help or stay home. Give-and-go and pick-and-roll come up again and again, so players learn to see them.
Straight to 5-on-5
The spacing, the two-player actions and the defending in space are the same ones a school or club team runs. The reps carry over to the full court.
Coached by 4th Quarter Athlete.
The clinics are run by 4th Quarter Athlete, the player-development program Adrian Thomas founded in Austin in 2014. Since June 2026 it has run at Dripping Springs Sports Club, with Coach Adrian directing all of DSSC basketball. During the school year the same staff runs Shooting Lab, Skill Lab and Prep Academy.
